My relaxing feel-good playlist for driving in morning traffic without losing it.
My relaxing feel-good playlist for driving in morning traffic without losing it.
I made this playlist in a time in my life I was driving to work very early in the morning, and the radio really annoyed me with it's commercials and news interruption. And streaming apps just give you the same thing over and over and I need the style to change every couple of songs.
To help my morning self I created this long set of songs that are uplifting (me) and as diverse as a radio station, but has no interruption, to arrive at my destiny with smile, even though I was stuck in traffic for a hour and half. Booya!
not sure why but this song was the song that I wanted first thing in the mornings for some time.
After a couple of gentle morning songs I usually want a dose of energy at this point. This song is my guilty pleasure and some thing about that sudden switch between soulful and somewhat cheasy two step house to the legendary "Re-Rewind when the crowd say booo selecta" part when we suddenly land on minimal fart sub-bass. This song is the best
Toro y Moi is a genious that is still relatively unknown, even though you can hear his influence of many current artist. This song is one of his best - funky and soulful and just pure fun.
One of the most perfect songs in the history of pop, and I like every second of it's long 5 minutes. Trivia - Debby Harry raps one of the first rap verses in history here, clumsy rap but still legendary.
